FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
Yes. We save the entire bar for walk-ins. You can order the full menu, and it’s first-come, first-served.
-
Day-of requests usually cannot be honored. Our dining room is tight. If you booked a table for four, we only have space for four. If you would like to combine parties after reservations have been made, please contact info@bargabi.com or give us a call as soon as possible.

Our name starts with “Bar” for a reason. We are a busy, dinner-only restaurant with a central bar. We don’t have high chairs or a kids' menu. If your well-behaved children are ready to eat langos and pasta in a loud room, bring them. But please know that this restaurant is designed primarily for adults.

There is ample street parking along Hamata and Chestnut, as well as a free city lot adjacent to and behind Mabel Gray. We are working with the city and other stakeholders to add additional parking options in the future.
-
No. Wear what you want, but know that most guests choose business casual attire or above. Either way, we want you to be comfortable.
-
Yes, especially during peak hours. It’s a busy dining room with a bustling bar and a chef who loves electronic music. If you want a quiet, whispering dinner, we aren't the right spot.
-
Yes. Gabe makes sure the menu has some solid options. Just put a note in your reservation so the kitchen knows. (It also helps to remind your server.)
-
We can typically work around any food allergies as long as we have a few days heads up. Please make a note in your reservation and alert your server upon arrival.
-
No. Our kitchen is small and can only accommodate guests dining in. You are more than welcome to add a couple items to take home at the end of your meal (see: Gabriela’s desserts), but we don’t accept to-go orders. Now, catering orders are a different story…
-
Yes! We have a whole separate dining room in the back of the restaurant we affectionately call The Cave, which is perfect for showers, birthdays, corporate events, and even small weddings. (Gabriela loves to make cakes, by the way.) If you’d like to inquire about hosting your next event at Bar Gabi, drop us an email with the details at info@bargabi.com.
